Our Missionaries
The Boyd Family
Responding to a passion for bold evangelism and disgust with modern-day churchianity, Jesse Boyd founded Full Proof Gospel Ministries in 2003 and currently serves as the organization's president. Jesse grew up in a godly home in Newton, North Carolina but did not repent and turn to Christ until 1993. Shortly thereafter, he committed his life to the work of the ministry and obtained an education with this in mind. In 1997, Jesse graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Relgion and a minor in Greek from Liberty University. Later, he pursued graduate studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina and received a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Church Planting from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. Jesse has traveled all over the world, served as a missionary with a worldwide Baptist organization in Nepal, taught at a Christian high school, and holds a fourth degree black belt in Teashikido, all of which provided valuable life experience to prepare him for his role in Full Proof Gospel Ministries.
Jamie, Jesse's wife, was born and raised in Vale, North Carolina. She began a relationship Jesse in high-school, and shortly thereafter, she gave her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ during a local church revival. After high-school, Jamie attended King’s College in Charlotte, North Carolina and later graduated with a degree in Medical Office Assisting. Over the next several years, she would gain much valuable experience as she worked a variety of occupations in the medical field and briefly served as a medical missionary in Nepal. Since the inception of Full Proof Gospel Ministries, Jamie has completely dedicated her efforts to aiding her husband in the public proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is a true helpmeet and partner who has been used to speak the Gospel into the ears of many women and children around the world.
The Boyd's have two daughters: Bethany Grace (2/4/2004) & Charlotte Hope (1/14/2008), both of whom were born in the midst of labor for the Lord. Since birth, both girls have been an integral part of outreach, traveling to many places and creating interesting witnessing opportunities by their simple presence.
As missionaries with Full Proof Gospel Ministries, the Boyd's have labored all over the United States (including more than 16,000 miles on a bicycle) and in many nations around the world. At the present, their primary focus is street witnessing and evangelism training in the United States; Scripture printing and mass distribution in Nepal; and taking the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into closed countries as the Lord opens the door of opportunity.
