Greetings, dear brethren, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
We are sorry you haven’t heard from our ministry in a while. Please continue to pray for us and for an open door to fulfill the commitment we made before the LORD with #TheLongWalkUSA.
Jesse Boyd, Bethany Boyd, Eric Trent, and Carter Phillips are still facing ridiculous FELONY charges out of Madison County, Montana. They are dealing with a very corrupt sheriffs department, an attacker who has a history of violent behavior and boasts about his personal relationship with local deputies, and an assistant district attorney who makes no secret about his disdain for all things religious. This is definitely a SPIRITUAL BATTLE involving forces of darkness who hate the Gospel.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Please be in prayer ahead of Wednesday, March 22. There is a hearing in Madison County. Multiple motions are currently before the Judge: strong motions for dismissal, motions to unseal police footage for the public, a motion arguing religious discrimination by the sheriffs department and the prosecution, and demand for an investigation into the Madison County Sheriffs Department for multiple ethics violations of their own policies as well as state law enforcement policy. One of our attorneys communicated this to me recently:
“There are so many mocking statements about religion among the deputies, combined with so much anti-Christian hatred and mockery … the cops openly mocked the defendants for their faith. I have literally NEVER seen that before, in any case I’ve ever dealt with.”
Heretofore, the judge hasn’t ruled on anything, and we don’t know if any of that would happen on Wednesday. What we do know is that a very aggressive assistant attorney general, Thorin Geist, has demanded that we not be able to mention God, Jesus Christ, the Bible, self-defense, or anything about our mission work in a court of law. It really is like something out of East Germany. He has also demanded that nothing about our attacker’s character or his history of criminal activity and violent behavior be allowed to even be discussed. If ridiculous demands like this were somehow granted, there would be no possibility of a fair trial, and our missionaries would be walking into a trap if they returned to Montana. Perhaps what is most amazing is that this rabid assistant AG works under the authority of an elected official, the State AG, who campaigned thus:
How can this be? Mr. Knudsen claims to be a Christian, a man who fears God, pro-Constitution, unashamedly pro-life, conservative, and openly speaks about America being founded upon Christian ideals. And yet, his office is targeting innocent Christian missionaries from North Carolina who simply DEFENDED THEMSELVES with great restraint against an unprovoked attack on the side of a Montana highway. Alas, this is the godless America in which we suddenly find ourselves living, a nation so far from the Lord. Many have called this man’s office these past few months to voice their concerns in this matter. The more public pressure the better … here is the number. We would like to share two short videos recently posted, memorable FACES and PLACES from the 5,543 miles of our long walk from Cape Hatteras, NC to Madison County, MT. These faces and places are LOUD PROOF that the false charges brought against our ministry are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and motivated by those who hate the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and hate those who preach it. Christian persecution in this police state called America is real. Nevertheless, we press on. Praise God together with us for all the encounters, all the witnessing opportunities over so many miles already:
We also want to praise God for many folks from Montana who are standing by us in this injustice, folks we didn’t know from Adam before any of this happened. There are folks who have put many hours and much effort into helping us fight. Many have also expressed an interest in walking with us for protection until we can get out of Madison County. Many have prayed for us. Many have made phone calls to state officials on our behalf. Some have written articles, others have done investigative work, expecting nothing in return. We are very humbled. Apparently, here has also been an ANONYMOUS WHISTLEBLOWER with a conscience who works for Madison County and who has leaked police footage to the public. Stuff has popped up randomly in past weeks online and in social media. It’s a crazy world in which we live. Full Proof Gospel Ministries and its missionaries have no idea who leaked this stuff, or how folks who have posted it got their hands on it. Now, it seems, another whistleblower has made a powerful video with this leaked whistleblower footage. We have no idea who made this video, or whether or not they live in Montana; but he or she obviously spent many hours on this project. We are simply baffled that a stranger would do such a thing on behalf of our missionaries. It’s almost like a movie, and it was floating around a little on social media. Now, it is sitting on YouTube. We encourage you to watch this and decide for yourself what happened out there on the side of that Montana highway. The footage is very disturbing, especially the footage of Josiah Boyd at the very end. PLEASE SHARE THIS ALL OVER THE PLACE. The folks at Montana 1st News have been a real blessing to us since this whole thing started. These good folks have worked hard to keep our story alive out there where it happened. Pray for them, and praise God for them.
Last week, Bethany and Josiah were interviewed by Tina Griffin, a former Hollywood actress, on The Counter Culture Mom Show. It should air sometime next week, and we expect it to be powerful, means for the Lord Jesus Christ to be glorified.
Regardless of what happens in court next week or at the end of this Montana matter, we are going to be resuming our walk from the very spot it was sabotaged. We are simply waiting for the weather out there to warm a bit. Lord willing, we can get back to it in April or May. Please pray with us ahead of this. We have received some threats of violence, but we will not be intimidated. Right now, a brother in California is building another cross just like the one that was taken from us. We will fulfill the commitment we made to the LORD and get our feet wet in the waters of the Pacific. And, I am reminded of this discourse in Acts 21:12-14 …
“And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.”

Respectfully encourage him to do what is right by the 4 missionaries and by the clear laws of Montana that enshrine a man’s duty to defend himself and his family.
