Dear praying friends and families . . . Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Let us praise God and rejoice upon what has transpired recently as answers to your fervent prayers. Also, we would like to thank you for your continuous intercession and support toward our front-line ministry here in Nepal.

Sculptors fashion idols at the Newari Trade Show in Lalitpur

Well, God gave us a booth at Lalitpur Trade Show from March 28-April 3, 2013. We gave out more than 10,000 Project Jagerna Gospels of John and many thousands of tracts during that week. The main victory was that the local tribal people, Newaris, the most religious and orthodox Hindus, were reached in this outreach program. These people generally do not accept tracts in their area, but they took them at that show. Also, the great thing was that the Lord helped us to preach and give out the Gospel from a temple porch, right there in the presence of the idols. Once again, our team from two house churches had a great time. We were so many that the organizers even threatened to take us to the police if we ventured outside of our booth to hand out the Word. Of course, the Evil One was not happy about our attack, so he did what he could to intimidate us. But, God gave the boldness and courage needed to stand for Him. Two Jewish people also heard the Gospel at the booth. Please pray for their salvation.

We were greatly encouraged to have Mr. Marshall, aged 87, as part of our team. He joined us on the last day in that temple outreach. Marshall, a grandpa, traveled for many hours just to meet us and pray with us all the way from Canada. Actually, he was en route to Bhutan and happened to stop in Kathmandu for a week. After serving the Lord for 35 years in Bolivia and Turkey, Mr. Marshall also joined us in a Ratnapark outreach last Friday to give out the tracts in the streets, even to the police and army officials. What a life to say as our Master Jesus and the Apostle Paul, "I've not wasted my life." Our team was greatly encouraged to see a grandpa in the field, still preaching and sharing Christ. God bless you Mr. Marshall.

The Evil One also tried to intimidate us during that outreach. As I requested you to pray, some Hindu extremists gave our Project Jagerna Gospel of John to an "Extreme Hindu" weekly magazine. They called me and asked about where I lived. They also threatened to report to the police about handing out "anti-Hindu literature." We just prayed for them that the same literature and verses they were offended with would bring them to the True Lord. There is still some probability that they could make an issue of this, but there have been no more phone calls. I was ready to face that in the Lord's strength, and my family told mr that they were also ready to go to jail together for the Lord. Our only prayer is that glory may be to God alone.

Finally, I have to share a blessing with you as we have reached the end of the Nepali calendar year 2069. We are humbled to let you know that God helped us to print and give out about 120,000 Gospel of John in this Nepali year 2069 along with more than 150,000 tracts. Glory to God alone! Our goal was to give out 100,000 (one lakh in 2069), but God is great and He provided for us to more than meet this goal. We praise God for His work, and we thank you for your partnership in this work. You are blessed by God. Now, we have exhausted our supply of Project Jagerna Scripture portions and only have a few hundred tracts left. Please pray for God's guidance in this ministry, and please keep praying for the people of Nepal. Here are some additional specific needs:

Discipleship of new believers and evangelists in our two house churches
Our local missionaries to the Baitadi who are ready to leave for the field
Our ministry in Kapilbastu and Arghakhachi
The Kathmandu Gospel Center ministry
We desperately need a vehicle, a jeep of some kind which can carry large amounts of printed material and can go off-road
