an eve of departure
Packing Materials in Multiple Languages for South Asia … for both Jew & Gentile (Romans 1:16)
Your prayers are much appreciated as Team Yeshua Big Sky departs early tomorrow morning for South Asia. Lord willing, we shall rendezvous with Carter & Bethany in Qatar. We’ll be traveling many miles by land and over big mountains for the next 6 weeks. It has been a good time of training and preparation here under a big sky in Montana. It’s now time for the next chapter, under a big sky in South Asia. We greatly look forward to being with and laboring alongside the persecuted church at a literal uttermost corner of the earth. I can’t wait to dig out that old cross I stored way over there long ago and to carry it along highways and byways higher in altitude than any mountain anywhere in North America save Denali in Alaska and Mount Logan in the Yukon.

Thanks to Mark & Betsy Czikalla who graced us with their presence these past few days. Brother Mark shared some good front lines teaching born out of many years of street preaching experience, and it was a blessing to have him lead us in some outreach in downtown Missoula. If it weren’t for the Madison County debacle, I never would have known Mark. They came up to stand alongside us at the Re-Start in May of 2023, and this brother walked not a few miles with me through some rough Montana country. I’ll never forget it.
Team Yeshua was blessed to have Mark & Betsy come alongside to help with the evangelism training.
Preaching Christ as the ONLY HOPE for a DISTRESSED AMERICA in Downtown Missoula
This past weekend, Jamie got back out here to Montana. I did some cross-walking in Madison County before she arrived in Bozeman (Thanks to John & Rebekah Lamb who manned a support vehicle). Simultaneously, the team did a stretch of busy riverside byway with the other cross in Missoula County. There were good Gospel encounters.
What a blessing to have the famous John Lamb run SAG for me as I walked some asphalt in Madison County!
Team Yeshua Cross-Walking in Montana
Sunday, we visited a small church plant in the tiny town of Hot Springs in Sanders County. Those folks prayed for us during the Madison County saga, and they were blessed by our dropping by. It was a good time of singing, preaching, and fellowship.
I love small little church plants in out-of-the-way places.
Here in Montana, Team Yeshua has walked 105 miles and enjoyed about 180 Gospel encounters. 5 Bibles have gone out, and the Lord has indeed put some lost sheep from the House of Israel into our path. I also rejoice that copies of my recently printed Rotten at Heart Gospel booklet have gotten into the hands of Montana officials who were involved in our Madison County case. May the Lord used it to effect righteousness in our unrighteous nation. The Lord Jesus Christ is our only hope.
Thanks to the Vannoy Family for providing a perfect Montana mission house and for loaning to us one of their vans during this time of preparation. These godly folks have been a true Montana blessing, and Brother Randy has become a dear and trusted friend since I first met him right after I got out of jail. Truly, the Lord makes everything beautiful in His time.
Thank you to the Vannoy Family for providing us with such a perfect Team Yeshua mission base in Montana—perfect setup, perfect location.
Stay tuned for Team Yeshua news, next time from under a big sky at an uttermost end of the earth. Again, thanks for holding the ropes in prayer.
