The attestation of genuine faith in the “they that believe to the saving of the soul” vs. “them who draw back unto perdition” in Hebrews 10:39 has a testamentary epitaph bequeathed to us, the Church (11:4-40). And that testament goes way back. It is seen in the COURAGEOUS FAITH of those who were tested and finished well. A courageous faith is indeed TESTED (Abraham), but in and through the test: such faith BLESSES others (Isaac), shines MAGNIFICENT (Jacob), and waxes CONFIDENT (Joseph).

These faithful testimonies ought to be EMULdATED and RE-LIVED in these dark and troublesome times. Fear over faith may be very contagious, but so is courage in faith.
