paul's gospel & the everlasting gospel (revelation 14:6-7)
This message was preached at New Testament Christian Fellowship on April 9, 2017. With the declaration of the "Everlasting Gospel" in Revelation 14:6-7, explication is necessary concerning the four forms of the Gospel message found in the New Testament, the everlasting Gospel being one of those forms--NOT four gospels, but four forms of the Gospel in terms of emphasis, much like the four Gospels concerning the life of Christ. This message, part 3 in this Revelation 14:6-7 mini-series, focuses upon the third and fourth forms. The third form is what the Apostle Paul describes as "my gospel" in Romans 2:16, 16:25-26 . This is the same GOOD NEWS as the Gospel of God's grace with the additional revelation made known to Paul and revealed in his epistles concerning the mystery of the Church, the Body of Christ. The fourth form, the everlasting Gospel, is explained in the text at hand, Revelation 14:6-7. This is GOOD NEWS to Israel and the Tribulation Saints, declaring that their troubles are soon over and the Creator cometh quickly to judge. This is the same everlasting Gospel (i.e. worship God as Creator) that has been proclaimed from Eden down through the days of the Patriarchs, Moses, the Prophets, and by Jesus Christ Himself.
