Finishing a cross-walking spur begun this summer by Team Yeshua
I’d appreciate your prayers as I come out of a bout of pneumonia while trying to finish up a cross-walking spur begun by Team Yeshua this summer from downtown Missoula and aiming to connect up with #TheLongWalkUSA main route as it passed through Seeley Lake. By God’s grace, and despite feeling pretty lousy, I finally finished walking every mile of highway asphalt in Madison County, and I literally walked out of the county for good with a great Gospel encounter at the county line sign. Earlier Monday, one last Hebrew New Testament went into the hands of a Jewish resident of Madison County. It, too, was a great encounter that made for 33 Hebrew New Testaments on the summer, a new Team Yeshua record. Glory to God. It was also a blessing to share testimony of our time in South Asia at a local church in Madison County on Sunday. The brethren were very blessed.
Sunday afternoon, my daughter Charlotte flew into Montana and has been a great partner and SAG driver since. I hope to complete the spur here in Missoula County over the next couple of days. Right now, the weather is phenomenal. If it holds and Logan Pass stays open, there is a 20-mile walking spur I’d also like to complete in Glacier National Park before we start heading home to North Carolina next week.
My daughter Charlotte flew out to SAG for me as I finished walking every mile of asphalt in Madison County.
Again, prayers appreciated, especially for healing. Yesterday’s 11-mile stint took a toll on me. Team Yeshua is finished for the summer, but the work continues. As I walk with the cross and pass by folks on the highways and byways, it seems as appropriate as ever to declare simply “America Needs Jesus.”
