a truly happy ending

It was a little drama getting out of Leh and a couple very hectic days in Delhi, but we finally got out of India after some racist immigration tyranny put us in a position where we could only cry out to the Lord and wait for His deliverance. It finally came and no flights were missed. Even in Doha these guys are still witnessing for the Lord. This was Tony from Italy who lives in Thailand. It’s a long journey still, but we’re on our way to Montana. Carter and Bethany are in Delhi one more day. Please pray for them as they have a long journey themselves. It’s been an incredible summer and very fruitful, even in the two weeks of delay. Thanks for your prayers on our behalf. No regrets! No reserves!

What a summer! And not a single ounce of regret over the two extra weeks the Lord kept us in South Asia. Not one solitary ounce! We enjoyed one last Team Yeshua dinner together down in Lolo; and we greatly look forward to tomorrow’s closing worship service here in Missoula at 4pm. Indeed the Lord has been good and has established the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17).

Back where it all started, Team Yeshua Big Sky.

How appropriate that the last mile of asphalt here in Madison County started off with a great encounter. After the camera was turned off, we told our story to Jennifer and talked about how God takes what men mean for evil and uses it for great good; and I assured her that we were walking out of Madison County with nothing but fond memories. She took a gospel tract and she a copy of my booklet, Rotten at Heart, that tells the story of Madison County and the walking preacher from North Carolina. She ewanted to grab a picture with us to show her freinds and family. What an amazing end to a saga that I can fully and finally now put behind me with no reserves and no regrets.

The Lord indeed does have a sense of humor. I was introduced to Madison County on November 12, 2022 by an encounter with an angry man who moved up here from Colorado. I said goodbye to Madison County today, September 22, 2025, on foot by way of an encounter with a happy woman who moved up here from Colorado. Same cross. Same mesaage. A truly happy ending. Sheer profundity!

Walking out of Madison County with nothing but fond memories, including an encounter with Jennifer at the county line.
