The title of this edition of our insider newsletter appears in the devanagari script and is Nepali for Himalayan Labors of Love, not so much our love for the mountainous peoples and places of South Asia which is strong, but the love and hospitality manifested to us along our recent stint in Nepal and Ladakh by faithful Gentile brethren who know trial, tribulation, and persecution . . . and yet, like us, these possess a love for the Jewish people and have labored to help enable us to reach the lost sheep of the House of Israel who wander through their Himalayan backyards.
the whole Bible, the whole world, our whole duty
The printed Word of God, it's whole counsel, preached and distributed (not some little Bible app tucked away on your iPhone) is the only cure for the unrest in our nation today. And, THE WHOLE BIBLE TO THE WHOLE WORLD ought to be OUR WHOLE DUTY.

Since 2013, we have principally gone to the Gentiles in areas where we have invested work, engaging in opportunities for Jewish Missions along the way to the Gentiles. This past Saturday, in response to clear direction from the Lord in the Scriptures, through circumstances, and proceeding from godly counsel received from those who have followed this work for a long time, I laid out one final fleece, proposing that we flip the script moving forward: Instead of going to the Gentiles and engaging in Jewish missions along the way to the Gentiles, it’s time to go to the Jewish people and engage in missions to Gentile nations along the way to the Jewish people.

Greetings from the Peruvian Andes. As I sit here penning this ministry update, I'm staring out the huge bay window of our apartment in Huaraz at the Cordillera Blanca and the double peak of Huascaran (22,205 ft.), the highest mountain in Peru. My soul sings Toda la gloria del Creador de estas montanas, gloria al Dios pos las opportunidades en esta lugar.

This year, I will be leading Team Yeshua. We are a smaller team made up of three young people from South Dakota, myself, and my oldest daughter. I'm excited because all involved have experience with this type of outreach and have already served with FPGM in some capacity.
that's why we go to them
They really appreciated the teaching and implored us to continue coming to teach them sound doctrine. These pastors and leaders don't have much training, and it's very difficult for them to leave their families and flocks for long trainings in Kathmandu. That's why we are going to them . . .

Even the most seemingly random events or unexpected deviations from a pre-conveived plan often prove the Divine Hand of Providence that changes lives and alters the course of human history.

Human history is clear: ALL manmade attempts to bring peace to earth, or global unity and tolerance, only result in prison camps, revolutions, bloodshed, graves, and the persecution of Christians, Jews, and those who fear God . . .

The Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ was not a good suggestion, and it appears in the New Testament at least five times. Mark 16:15-16 is most succinct, the SCOPE & RESULTS of the Commission. Verse 15 is the church's responsibility; verse 16 is the Lord's problem.

When the fulness of the time was come, the Word was made flesh: "God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons" (Galatians 4:4). Hallelujah, that is not manmade and dead religion!

Shalom, dear friends, from Indian Railways! This update is being penned as I sit in transit between the coastal Indian state of Goa and the northern hill station of Dehradun. The two places are more than 2,000 kilometers apart. Journeys like this make me think of the disciples in the Book of Acts and how they too must have written some of their letters to the churches while they were in transit . . .
i heard the bells
The angels saw fit to celebrate the birth of the Christ child (Hebrews 1:6), so should we; but not simply His birth during a single season of the year. Celebrate His incarnation, His death, His burial, His resurrection, and His soon coming to "rule all nations with a rod of iron" (Revelation 12:5), a daily celebration worthy of all seasons. And, to truly celebrate is to ANNUNCIATE . . .
