People have to hear the Truth

People have to hear the Truth

Dear praying friends and families,

Greetings from Nepal in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Let's praise God and thank Him for what He has done through us last Friday. Also, we would like to thank you for holding the ropes in prayer. Thus, we are able to give you this brief report on the ministry.

Brother Laxmi joined Bimu, Bigya and me to witness to the lost ones. We preached for three and a half hours and gave out 1,400 Gospels of John along with more than 500 tracts. We met a group of Bible School students who were already there to preach the Gospel. They were trying to do personal evangelism and debating with people. We were there at the right time, and I preached the bold message of the True Gospel. The students listened to the preaching and also helped us to distribute the tracts. Yes, it was a good training for them and they appreciated the preaching. They gladly received the book "One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven" (i.e. translated into Nepali) as a gift.

On top of that, it was Father's Day and God gave me a message. On this day in Nepal, people visit their fathers with gifts such as clothes, fruits, money, etc. But, we have to visit not only the earthly fathers, but also the heavenly Father who is always waiting for His lost children with open arms. If you want to visit Him, then you have to repent of your sins and give the gift of a contrite heart to your Father, as Psalm 51:17 says, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou will not despise." God gave me this verse, and I said that we could receive a gift of salvation from our Father, who is ready to forgive us our sins and to restore us in our sonship. As Matthew 11:28,29 says, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." I shared the parable of the Lost Son and asked, "Oh, how your Heavenly Father will be happy if you also return to Him in meekness and with a contrite heart?" I then asked many questions about their spiritual journey and about the preparation they have done for the one way journey after death. I also shared that just as we need to have permission from the country we want to visit, likewise we also need a permission from heaven to go there and that permission is in the blood of Jesus Christ who paid for all. The perfect sacrifice once for all! Brother Laxmi also preached about religion and the relationship with God. His point was: Man was before religion; we can't save religion and religion can't save us. Only our Creator can save us.

Oh, what a day of outreach at Ratnapark! Praise the Lord! We preached there for three and half hours and one person from Birgunj, a southern city, accepted Christ right there. While I was preaching, he came to receive a copy of John and I saw him sitting under a tree and reading it. Then, a couple from another church happened to come there and they led him to Christ right there, and later, we gave him a New Testament. You can see him in the picture. Please pray for his discipleship. I don't know whether we'll meet him again in this world, but I would love to see him in our Fathers' house, praising and worshipping Him together.

Also, a couple from Spain happened to come there and I did not miss the opportunity to share the Gospel with them. The girl said that they themselves were gods and the boy said that she was his savior. I rebuked them saying that these things were blasphemy and they were in need of a true Savior, their Creator, Jesus Christ. They took a Nepali John, but I asked them to go to the website where they can read the Gospel in English.

We met a lot of people who were going abroad for a job. And now, there are a lot of Nepali missionaries in those countries. So, it was a great opportunity to give them the Gospel orally and in print so that the seed can grow in that foreign country when they will meet with the believers. Now, many Nepali people are receiving Christ while they are in foreign lands for work. God is doing all these things and I would like to request that you pray for this Nepali Diaspora.

I would like to also request that you to continue to pray for my family and for our coming outreaches as we seek to distribute 100,000 Project Jagerna Scripture portions in this Nepali year of 2069. The Half-mile hailer is doing a great job, and God is helping us as the answer of your prayers. Please keep exalting us in your prayers. Thank you very much for your partnership to reach the lost ones in this corner of the world. Thank you very much for your financial support also. We ask God's abundant blessing upon you, your family, your job, and your ministry. God bless you, and peace be with you.

Finally, a story of blessing: A believer woman has a mobile shop of chewing gum, candies, etc., in a bamboo shack. She goes around in Ratna Park to sell them to the visitors. When she heard us preaching, she came to Bimu and gave a bundle of 5 gums and a few candies to Bigya. We were humbled when we shared the gum after the preaching. That event reminded me the offering of the widow who gave all of her belongings. Let's ask God's abundant blessings upon that sister. Yes, there is still a remnant body who loves the Lord.
